Often billed in place of DJs on a number of exciting line ups across the capital, South London's increasingly popular dance outfit PVA have just dropped their intoxicating debut single via the consistently excellent Speedy Wunderground concept label. Pairing angular art-rock with minimalist electronica, PVA members, Ella Harris, Josh Baxter and new addition, drummer,  Louis Satchell, have built an organic following since catching the innovative label's eye on the Rising Stage at Green Man Festival last year. Translating their electrifying live shows to a professional recording for the first time, 'Divine Intervention' is quietly confident and effortlessly cool. With casually delivered dual vocals lurking above a simple yet effective synth-bass loop, precise acoustic drum beats add emphasis in all the right places. With whisperings of a Christmas rendition of the track to be released as the b-side, when the track comes out digitally on the 20th of December, PVA might be responsible for an unlikely new xmas banger that we didn't know we needed.
